    IUOE Local 70 has had several meetings with ALLINA Management in regard to the Layoff and timelines going forward. It does appear due to the scale of the layoff to have a long process all the way to the end. Watch this location for further updates. Last week we had our step 2 meeting in regards to the grievance related to the CBS postings being posted as non-contract positions.

    Police Arrest Hit and Run Driver that Injured Firefighter
    02/26/20 - El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association
    The hit-and-run driver that hit Firefighter Armando Lopez while he was assisting at the scene of a crash on February 12, 2020 has been arrested.  Special Traffic Investigations (STI) officers traced down the vehicle involved and obtained an arrest warrant for the driver.  She had been identified as 46–year old Shiloh Danielle Hutchings.

    The Coronavirus has been all over the news. According to the CDC there has been 14 confirmed cases in the United States. Twelve cases are travel related and two are spread person to person. None of the confirmed cases are in WV. The attached infographic shows how the CDC is preparing communities to deal with and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

    Free Asbestos Screening
